Many Filipinos do not have easy or affordable access to basic financial services like bank accounts, remittance services and investment products. 

Blockchain technology is solving many of these problems through cryptocurrencies and digital assets.  By providing an exchange platform for cryptocurrencies and digital assets, PDAX aims to make financial products and services cheaper and more accessible to the ordinary Filipino.

PDAX operates an open marketplace for digital assets, i.e. PDAX.ph and retail distribution app for securities, e.g. Bonds.PH.

PDAX is a financial institution regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and is Series A venture backed by the global leaders in crypto and blockchain technology, and by SEA-focused venture capital firms.

About the Role

Operations Associate has the overall responsibility for providing critical, accurate and timely delivery of service and support to the daily operations of Cash Payments, Wire Desk, Settlements and Loan Servicing.

Responsibilities

Operations Associate shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Handles day-to-day activities of high visibility, multi-function & multi-team
operations department, including but not limited to report preparation,
payment/transaction processing, and reconciliation of accounts.


2. Interacts and coordinates with all internal parties and external stakeholders such as
banks, payment channels, product vendors, regulators, and external auditors.


3. Responsible for identifying, developing, and improving processes with focus on
enhancing efficiency and optimizing resources.


4. Provides support in identifying and assessing risk, managing controls, and addressing
results in internal and external audits.


5. Assists in developing and setting the strategy for the department to meet the
objectives of the firm.


6. Interprets and applies, where appropriate, industry announcements and changes to
existing internal systems and processes.


7. Independently takes on multiple complex assignments and projects on behalf of the
department and sees them through to completion, while continuing to manage daily
responsibilities and service levels.


8. Undertakes further duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications


1. Education

  • University degree or equivalent experience required. Concentration in business, finance or management preferred.

2. Abilities and Skills

  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make decisions regarding operational and administrative risks as it relates to cash payments and loans.
